The Wild Goose Chase.

Thank you, readers, especially my followers. I have looked forward to connecting with you each week. After 8 years and over 400 posts, I am going on vacation. Perhaps I will send postcards along the way or maybe rush right back. I do not know. All I do know is a wild goose chase feels like flying. And so it is that I leave you with a wish–may your feet never touch the ground–at least not for long….

I feel like I am lost in the midst of an unplanned trip.

I felt as if I were in a pickle, sandwiched in by all the baloney.

I felt like a dancer who did not recognize the tune.

When I was at the top of my game, I discovered an updated version had been released.

I wondered if I were a glass half full, would I tip over more easily.

I felt as if I were sandwiched in by expired condiments.

I felt like a tree thinking the forest was full of nuts.

When I thought I had two left feet, I was just tripping over my wings.

When I reached out, I realized I was holding on to someone who was not there.
